Saxophone Instruction
Soprano, Alto, tenor, Bari
I take a balanced approach to teaching in both jazz and classical styles of the saxophone. In lessons, we will work through fundamental exercises, etudes, classical repertoire, and jazz language. For jazz pedagogy, we will listen to recordings, learn music by ear, explore harmony, and transcribe solos from the greats.

Performed with the Slippery Rock University Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combos, Wind Ensembles, Pittsburgh Creators Project, Bob Reynolds, Wycliffe Gordon, Benny Benack III, The Borstal Boys and at venues such as Manchester Craftsman Guild, Umbria Jazz Festival, Acrisure Stadium, and more.
Studied with Dr. Jason Kush and Greg Greneck.
Marching Percussion Instruction
Snare, Bass, Tenor Drums
We can work on the fundamentals of marching percussion technique including sound quality, rolls, bass splits, and rudimental fundamentals in preparation for marching WGI/DCI or high school marching ensembles.
